Welcome to Langrud Aviation

Welcome to my aviation website. My name is Mark Langrud and I am a FAA certified flight instructor (CFI/CFII) based in Lincoln, NE. I instruct primarily at the Lincoln Municipal Airport through MPP Aviation. MPP Aviation has two airplanes available that you may rent: a Cessna 150 (N9282U) and a Cherokee 180 (N8838J). You may rent these airplanes for your training, as well as for personal use.

Training

Private Pilot

The private pilot is for those who yearn the freedom of the skies. They may fly for pleasure or personal business. They can fly themselves, their family, and their friends to countless airports across the country.

Instrument Rating

The instrument rating allows the private or commercial pilot flexibility when dealing with inclement weather, busy airspace, or stricter timelines. Instrument rated pilots may fly through fog and clouds, and the instrument rating builds airman proficiency and safety.

Commercial Pilot

The commercial pilot may be compensated for flying. Training focuses on a higher understanding of aircraft systems and airmanship. Commercial pilots will be able to operate complex airplanes (retractable gear, flaps, and controllable pitch propeller).

I am also available at Beatrice, Broken Bow, Crete, Fremont, Lincoln, Millard, Seward, and Wahoo to fly or instruct in your airplane.
